What does a bride wear?

Bridal lingerie is an important topic in the net. Google has more than 1 billion hits about bridal lingerie. And searching for lingerie most of the people look for bridal. When I asked a friend of mine last week what she wore on her special day, she said that she bought something she could wear also for everyday life. This statement was disappointing to me. Why not wear something special, something made only for this one day? Why not surprise my newly married husband with something gorgeous? Why do still so many brides (so it seems to me) not care about their lingerie they wear?
What I would do, if I don’t or can’t (because of the design of the dress) wear this special lingerie all day, at least I would change it for the wedding night! This night should be something to remember, in every teeny-weeny detail. So the lingerie should be sexy and sensual, should make me feel special. For a night,  for a moment.

Fatal error

Huh. The last month’s sale was the worst we ever had: To be honest – edition12 didn’t sell anything from the Lacy Night set! Why? We had no clue, until the night we wanted to implement our new set, the one starting September, 12. But what a surprise. The settings and the the text on the edition12 website announced: “This offer ends August, 12.” That means, people had no chance to buy as the sale started and finished August, 12. … what a mistake! So, to give our customers the chance to get a Lacy Night set, we decided to extend the offer for another month. So sorry! Sorry, for those of you who expected to have a look at the new model and sorry for those of you who couldn’t shop.

What is better than nude?

Yeah, another 12th! Today at midnight we present to you our new design from our collection.

Polish lingerie lovers please help

Great, two days ago edition12 got a mention in the polish fashion blog Zeberka. Over 1.000 visitors cam from Zeberka and there were more than 40 comments on the blog entry.

Unfortunately they discussed in polish language – and i have no clue what they were talking about. Anybody out there who knows polish and can translate a bit?

My first time in Turkey

No. I’m not going to tell you about first vacation in Turkey (as there are many). Or maybe a bit? Yes, I LOVE TURKEY!! The fantastic countryside, the kind and helpful people, the tasty cuisine, the small hidden villages. If you ever go there, go for Kekova Island. If you want to spend days and night without hearing any sound of cars – it’s definately the right place: because there are no cars on this half island!! No way to go there except by boat. And as there are not many rooms for rent there: the early bird catches the worm. The warmest host and the best breakfast you will find at Nesrins place. (If you want to know more, contact me.) Uh, sorry. I wax lyrical when I hear or read about Turkey. And I read about Turkey yesterday, when I realized that Reklamania was talking about my lingerie shop concept. Özgür is kind of ad-maniac or as he would say: he is an “adfreak”. He is talking about ads and good marketing strategies. And he found me. As I found Turkey.

Why hasn’t someone else had this idea before? They look great! A nice accessory for special events. The perfect look. I already hear my friends asking: Where did you buy them? It’s not surprising at all that the designers of Bebaroque won the award for the Best Accessory Designer at the Scottish Fashion Awards!

Yes indeed. And very much as Dennis Theissen from Shopify implemented the possibility for german shop-owners to offer credit card payment to their customers. The system went online today. So if you are a german shopify shop-owner contact wirecard and let people do their shopping even easier. Hurry up!

That’s why the posting about our new shop in the shopify blog had to be deleted by the shopify bloggers. Some visitors were complaining that edition12 shop is NSFW.
I think clicking on lingerie links at work is always risky. So why did these guys click on it and complained after?

I am very proud being mentioned by Springwise, which is my daily read, as long as I can remember. Edition12 is one of the very few business ideas from Germany which succeeded in getting mentioned by this great trendspotting network.

Shopify loves Germany

Hejoh! Did I ever tell you, that I use shopify for my shop? It’s a really good shop software. And if you have a good designer or/and coder you can easily implement your own theme. For all the german shops I have really good news: Untill now you can only offer PayPal to your customers. But this will change soon. Dennis from shopify has worked a couple of weeks implementing the option to pay with credit cards. Very soon all german shops will be able to use wirecard. Will say: The customer has the possibility to pay with credit card.

Certainly: paying with PayPal is also easy and even there you can pay with your credit cart, but many of us-I guess-prefer to type in card details the other way.
